Sterling silver settings in this collection use bezel, prong, and wire-wrapped techniques depending on stone hardness and visual requirements. Softer stones like turquoise (Mohs 5-6) sit in protective bezels, while harder materials like amethyst (Mohs 7) can tolerate open prong settings.
